When I was 15, I played an amazing game called 'Diablo'. It blew me away. I loved it! As I watched the opening cinematic (for the 20th time...), I thought 'Someone does that for a living!' So I set my heart on computer animation.
I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2006 with a BA in Time Based Media studies, emphasis on Animation. I'm aware of animation and can move bones around in a pinch. I even love doing it! BUT! While at college, I realized that I loved the technical part of animation much more. The rigging, the scripting, the procedural systems! Getting them to interact just right with one another! Making an animator's job easier and making them happier is like nothing else.
For the past 6 years I've been doing just that, most recently with Irrational Games on Bioshock Infinite.
